Nov. 6-8, 2009

These photos are from my trip to the "Fort-to-Port" meet in Ft. Wayne, Ind., in November 2009. The meet was held on Nov. 7, the photos are from the trip up on Nov. 6, the meet and part of the return trip on Nov. 7, and the remainder of the trip on Nov. 8. Thumbnails for the 363 photos span three pages. Use the arrow buttons in the upper left corner of the page to navigate the thumbnail pages. The first photo in the set is a new Clearview sign on I-75 northbound, in the construction zone near the KY 330 interchange.

Nearing the end of the construction zone is this new Clearview sign.

Skipping ahead to I-75 north of Cincinnati.

The sign for the Ohio Ikea store.

Ohio is implementing Clearview in various places around the state, including this new exit signage.

Approaching downtown Dayton, some older button copy signs can still be found.

More Clearview.

The interchange of OH 4 and I-75 is being rebuilt.

Most of the construction on the rebuilding of the I-75/I-70 interchange is finished.

Lots of intersections with routes labled County Road 25A north of Dayton. Each of these is the old routing of US 25.

My wife was born in Piqua.

In other states this would be signed as the Eastern Continental Divide. The southbound sign says "Entering Ohio River Watershed."

This is the first instance of Detroit showing up on the I-75 mileage signs.

OH 309 is the former routing of US 30S.

Traveling into the setting sun late in the afternoon.
