Upstate New York meet trip
September 2010
Day 3 (Saturday, Sept. 25)

These photos are from my trip to the Upstate New York meet in Rochester in September 2010. Photos are from New York and include the Rochester meet photos. Thumbnails for the 314 photos span three pages. Use the arrow buttons in the upper left corner of the page to navigate the thumbnail pages. To view the full-sized photos, click on one of the thumbnails on this page. You will then be able to view the images on individual Web pages.

Heading south on NY 14 at Horseheads, starting on the way to Rochester.

Directional signage for the ramp to I-86 and the turn to County 64.

First NY 15 sign.

A number of I-390 bubble shields can be found along this route.

Wind farms are becoming more and more common in this part of the country. I also saw one along US 219 in West Virginia, south of the Silver Lake and Thomas area, on my return trip.

NY 15 will be truncated to this exit at some point in the future.

The first new county of the day.

An older I-390 sign.

Signs like these are common in this area.

Another older sign.

Wonder if the mayor of the Town of Rush is named By-Tor?

The sign on the right is button copy. There are quite a few button copy signs left in the Rochester area. I have more and better pics of this assembly later on.

More button copy.

Spot the button copy.

Pronounced "cheye-lie," with both "i's" long.

Button copy.
