New US 119 bridge dedication in Pike Co., Ky., June 30, 2006

On June 30, 2006, I attended the dedication of a bridge on the unopened section of US 119 in Pike County, Ky. This stretch of roadway is expected to open sometime in August 2006. While there, I checked out the portion of the highway that is nearing completion. The bridges shown on this page were part of the tour following the spring 2005 roadgeek meeting at Pikeville.
